On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th November, a presentation of Mr Dragan Jemović’s book “Mount Athos – The Garden of the Most Holy Mother of God” was held in the main hall of the Serbian Orthodox Cathedral of St Sava in London. This valuable work is the fruit of his many years of research on Mount Athos, as well as his careful mapping of the monasteries, sketes, and lesser-known cells of this unique monastic republic.
У суботу 29. и у недељу 30. новембра у великој сали Саборне цркве Светог Саве у Лондону одржана је презентација књиге господина Драгана Јемуовића „Света Гора – Перивој Пресвете Богородице“. Ово драгоцено дело представља плод његовог дугогодишњег истраживања Свете Горе, као и стрпљивог мапирања манастира, скитова и мање познатих келија ове јединствене монашке републике.
У 25. недељу по Духовима, благословом Преосвећеног епископа лондонског и западноевропског г. Иринеја (РПЦЗ) и преосвећеног епископа лондонског и великобританско-ирског г. Нектарија, у храму Светог кнеза Лазара – Лазарици у Бирмингаму свечано је дочекана чудотворна икона Пресвете Богородице Корено-Курске.
On the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, with the blessing of His Grace Bishop Irenei of London and Western Europe (ROCOR) and His Grace Bishop Nektarije of London and Great Britain and Ireland, the wonderworking Kursk Root Icon of the Mother of God was solemnly received at the Church of Saint Prince Lazar – the Lazarica – in Birmingham.
On the 25th Sunday after Pentecost, on the feast day of Saint Gregory the Wonderworker and Saint Sebastian of Jackson, His Grace Bishop Nektarije of London and Great Britain–Ireland celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St Paul’s Church in Bedford, on the occasion of the parish slava dedicated to Saint Andrew the First-Called.
