A Joyful Gathering in Monastery Lelić in Serbia

Our ruling hierarch, His Grace the Right Reverend Nektarije, bishop of London, Great Britain and Ireland, made a pilgrimage to monastery Lelić, in a village near Valjevo, Serbia.
At the invitation of His Grace Bishop Isihije of Valjevo, on the feast of the translation of the relics of Saint Bishop Nikolaj of Žiča and Ohrid, His Grace Bishop Nektarije of London, Great Britain and Ireland, concelebrated at the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy.
The Holy Liturgy was celebrated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla, with the concelebration of Metropolitan Siluan of Australia and New Zealand, His Grace Bishop Heruvim of Osjek Polje and Baranje, His Grace Bishop Jerotej of Šabac, His Grace Bishop Damaskin of Mohács, His Grace Bishop Nikon of Jenopolje and the host His Grace Bishop Isihije of Valjevo.
The joyful gathering in monastery Lelić, in the village which was the birthplace of Holy Bishop Nikolaj Velimirović, represents a great spiritual joy and great blessing for the entire Serbian Christian Orthodox people, who lovingly preserve the memory of one of the most brilliantly educationed bishops of the 20 century, who rightfully is called the new Chrysostom – the golden-mouth.
