The Kolo of Serbian Sisters ‘Empress Milica’, attached to the Church of St Lazar the Prince in Birmingham, celebrated its patronal feast on Sunday, 20 September 2026.
This year’s Slava host was Ljiljana Ilić, who lovingly prepared the traditional Slava bread and helped make the occasion a joyful celebration of fellowship and togetherness. We extend our sincere gratitude to her, as well as to all the sisters who helped prepare the celebration.
Through their dedication and care, the Kolo ‘Empress Milica’ has contributed to the life of our parish for many years. Its patronal feast is an opportunity for us to come together, give thanks to God, and remember the importance of love and our willingness to support one another.
May the Lord bless Ljiljana, all the members of the Kolo and their families, and grant them strength to continue their good work.
