Saint Petka Celebrated Liturgically in Dublin
On the feast of Venerable Mother Paraskeva — Saint Petka, on 27 October 2026, His Grace Bishop Nektarije of London and Great Britain and Ireland celebrated the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in Dublin.
In his archpastoral homily, His Grace instructed the faithful gathered on the life and ascetic struggle of Venerable Mother Paraskeva, drawing attention to her unwavering faith and devotion to the Lord. He emphasised that her example continues to inspire Christians today to persevere in prayer, nurture their love for God and their neighbours, and strive for holiness in their daily lives.
Following the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the festive gathering continued with a trapeza agapis (meal of love), in a spirit of joy and fraternal fellowship.
