Following the dismissal, Bishop Nektarije addressed those gathered with a homily on the significance of the Precious Cross in the life of every Christian. He reminded the faithful that the Lord Jesus Christ willingly accepted suffering and bore the Cross with boundless patience, love and forgiveness.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThat is why we, Christians who live in Christ, must never lose heart in the face of the trials of life. We are called to pray that the Lord may always be with us and grant us the strength to bear our own cross in life with faith, hope and patience,\u201d the Bishop said.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
